How did we get here?
Our access to content is moderately to severely restricted and controlled depending on where we are in the world. Corporate networks extract richly from the creators who make the internet interesting and from everyday users alike. Meanwhile sacrifices of privacy and security have ratcheting consequences and have become real concerns for people.
But it doesn’t have to be this way!
We believe when networks are decentralized and employ modern security protocols, not only can we make them safe, but we put the users in control of what they do online and where their data goes, so we’re not in the business of extracting value from our participants.
We believe this is not only the right thing to do, it’s the way the internet was supposed to be built in the first place!
